The AktivoFix is a system for easy filling of syringes with radiopharmaceuticals and simultaneous measurement of the activity drawn up. The system has been developed by practical experience. Due to AktivoFix, the radiation exposure (extremity dose) of the nurse or laboratory technologist filling syringes with radiopharmaceuticals in daily routine work can be reduced by up to 90 %

The AktivoFix is meant for operation in the dose calibrators of MED Nuklear-Medizintechnik types ISOMED 1000 and ISOMED 2000. The AktivoFix system was developed by Dr. med. O. Lindner, Institut für molekulare Biophysik, Radiopharmazie und Nuklearmedizin at the Herz- und Diabetiszentrum NRW, Bad Oeynhausen, Germany. A patent was granted to it (Akz. 19847726.0). The system was supported by rubitec GmbH (Ruhr-Universität Bochum) with means of the federal state Nordrhein-Westfalen and the European Union.
