The QUART dido2100(K) is especially designed as diagnostic dosemeter for Quality Assurance and Service in any x-ray application. It is the first instrument of its kind which measures the dose-width pro- duct (DWP) with a flat detector based on semiconductor technology. It thus provides access to an elementary parameter to assess either true dose or dose-area product (DAP) at dental panoramic x-ray installations. In addition, to check on the installation’s spine area compensation, the dosimeter evaluates the dose-width product rate after the semi circle. Due to the improved detector design and its highly effective shielding, a maximum precision is achieved for HVL measurements in mammography and R&F applications. The sensitivity of the device ensures precise results for measurements of very low dose rates in general. For precise kV measurements the QUART dido2100K records maximum kV as well as effective kV for every exposure. Due to its technical design the dido can also be used in Digital Subtrac- tion Angiography (DSA) as well as in Radiography and Fluoroscopy (R+F). It provides efficient measurement technology for service experts, x- ray scientists and manufacturers of radiological equipment. |

The eQA Option For enhanced Quality Assurance (eQA) the QUART dido2100K can be hooked up to a computer via its USB interface. This enables users to evaluate acquired waveforms and to direct-print test protocols. The optional activation for that kind of data output has to be acquired to be able to use this feature. The eQA features of the QUART dido2100(K), however, also include measurement capabilities which similar systems do not provide, such as dose-width product and IEC compliant measurement of irradiation time (already available in any expansion stage). |
