PMX-I Family

 

The PMX-I family of kVp/time meters is designed to fulfil your measurement needs whether you work with radiography, mammography, CT, or dental X-ray. The meters are very user-friendly. Just press ON and it is ready for measurements. After an exposure it will automatically alternate kVp and time in the display for easy readout.

Ideal choice for measuring kVp & time

All instructions you need are located on the top-panel of the instrument. Auto-reset and auto-range functions allows consecutive measurements without entering the X-ray room. The radiation waveform can be studied via an oscilloscope connected to the BNC output. All models have an RS-232 computer interface as standard. A Windows software for remote control and data logging is included with each PMX-I. All models are also delivered with calibration records.

PMX-I R

PMX-I R is an ideal choice for measuring kVp and time on radiography and fluoroscopy X-ray equipment. Other features are pulse measurements, variable delay, and a special mode for kV measurements at short exposure times. This unit will also be suitable for all measurements on dental units except panorama units. The measuring range is 45-155 kV.

PMX-I M

The PMX-I M is very reliable and accurate. It has five different calibrations, Mo/Mo, Mo/Al, Mo/Rh, Rh/Rh and Rh/Al, for different target/filter combinations. The measuring range is 23 to 46 kV.

PMX-I CT

This meter has a specially designed detector to be able to measure on the narrow X-ray filed of a CT unit. The minimum slice width that can be used is 5 mm. Two different calibrations are standard and others can be supplied on customer request. Measuring range is 75-145 kV.

PMX-I D

This unit is designed to be suitable for measurements on all types of dental X-ray units. It has a small narrow detector that is needed to measure on panorama units. Measuring range is 45 to 100 kV.
